Wolverine Worldwide Names Bishu Jayaram as Chief Supply Chain Officer
Wolverine World Wide, Inc. has designated Bishu Jayaram for the recently established position of Chief Supply Chain Officer. In this role, Jayaram will oversee global sourcing, distribution, logistics, and integrated planning. This pivotal position is integral to steering the Company's evolution into a consumer-focused growth enterprise.
Mr. Jayaram, an accomplished executive with over two decades of experience in supply chain and sourcing, has been Wolverine Worldwide’s Senior Vice President of Global Sourcing for the past two years. In this role, he oversaw sourcing activities for all product categories across the Company’s brand portfolio. Prior to his tenure at Wolverine, he spent six years at VF Corporation, holding diverse supply chain roles, including managing Asia sourcing for footwear, equipment, and packs, along with overseeing global material supply for apparel, footwear, and equipment. Earlier in his career, Mr. Jayaram held positions in supply chain and costing with Avery Dennison, Adidas, and Gap, Inc.
Chris Hufnagel, President and CEO of Wolverine Worldwide, expressed confidence in Jayaram's adeptness in navigating complex supply chain scenarios and implementing innovative strategies. He highlighted Jayaram's leadership during a period of supply chain turbulence. Hufnagel emphasized the alignment of Jayaram's appointment with the company's objectives of improving operational efficiency, global brand building, and transitioning into a consumer-centric growth entity.
Concurrently, the company disclosed that Jim Zwiers, the Executive Vice President and President of its Global Operations Group, will be leaving Wolverine Worldwide in early 2024. Zwiers, who has a 25-year history with the company, held various key positions during his tenure, including roles in business groups, the legal department, and leading mergers and acquisitions.
