VNG ventures in CloudVerse - the Global Multicloud Management Platform

Separator

Many companies are utilising many public cloud service providers to satisfy their business demands as they travel the path of digital transformation and market expansion, embracing multicloud strategies. Multicloud computing adoption, though, presents issues with governance, expense, security, and data management.

The Multicloud Management Platform, called CloudVerse, would offer a centralised view of multicloud resources and offer suggestions for cost reduction and security compliance. The machine learning algorithms of CloudVerse, the first multicloud management platform created in Vietnam, reliably handle these pressing demands.

Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Microsoft Azure, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud, Huawei Cloud, and Digital Ocean are the seven public cloud service providers with which CloudVerse has connected. The platform anticipates integrating with a large number of other cloud service providers in 2023, including VNG Cloud.

Multicloud management is incredibly straightforward, safe, and cost-effective thanks to a full centralised view of cloud resources and their use, cost, and security compliance. Across the aforementioned seven clouds, CloudVerse currently supports IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) and PaaS (Platform as a Service) services. In the near future, the platform intends to incorporate SaaS (Software as a Service) capabilities as well.

By locating idle and underutilised cloud resources and offering cloud cost statistics, CloudVerse offers suggestions for optimising cloud resources. The platform also offers notifications about spending, budget management, and other suggestions for cost minimization and security compliance, which increases cloud productivity and usage. The highest level of security for applications, data, and infrastructure is ensured by CloudVerse's close compliance with security standards like ISO 27001, CIS, NIST, and others, in addition to its world-class functionality.

Chand Deshwal, Founder and CEO of CloudVerse shared: "Businesses in the digital economy are investing significantly in cloud services from multiple providers. CloudVerse, developed by a team of global engineers from Vietnam, India, and Singapore, will be the go-to management platform that helps businesses save costs, improve security and maximise productivity while improving the user experience. We aim to become the 'metacloud' or 'supercloud' (cloud of clouds) to connect the businesses with cloud service providers on a smart, efficient management platform".

The US industry leader in digital consultancy and market research, Gartner, projects that the market for cloud services will grow to be more than $1 trillion USD by 2022. Along with producing cutting-edge cloud computing technologies to keep up with the times, VNG's investment in Cloudverse will lay the groundwork for worldwide networks with the biggest cloud service providers as well as a centralised platform for companies to manage their resources and cut expenses.

Besides the Vietnamese market, CloudVerse also targets Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and India. "Our vision in the next three to five years is to become a global cloud technology company," added Chand.
