Seven new entrepreneurs will be partnered with by Visa, a global leader in digital payments, as part of its Visa Accelerator Programme in Asia Pacific. The seven companies from India, Mainland China, Thailand, Singapore, and Germany who were chosen as part of the 2023 programme will be working on solutions for Web 3.0, global money transfer, embedded finance, merchant and small business enablers, and open banking solutions.

The startups chosen for the 2023 cohort include Doxa Holdings (Singapore), Kadmos (Germany), Pi-xcels (Singapore), Playbux (Thailand), Transpure (India), and Twid (India). Dowsure (Mainland China) is one of the startups. These startups will have the exceptional chance to work with Visa's business development teams, payment experts, and customers over the course of six months to co-develop, test, and iterate their solutions while validating them against commercial opportunities with Visa's extensive network of financial institutions, retailers, and digital partners.

"The Visa Accelerator Program offers selected startups a path to rapid commercialisation," said Kunal Chatterjee, Head of Innovation, Asia Pacific, Visa. "Our collaboration with past cohorts of startups has yielded multiple commercial partnerships, joint intellectual property (IP) creation and new product developments with Visa and our clients in Asia Pacific. Success in payments requires strong collaboration and Visa is committed to partnering with and investing in startups that share our vision to build new digital commerce experiences."

Consumers' continued adoption of the ease and security that digital banking, payments, and commerce have brought to their lifestyles is a trend that is here to stay, and Visa is working with the chosen startups to create new digital commerce experiences together.
