Azercosmos and Viasat are set to join forces in a groundbreaking partnership aimed at revolutionizing connectivity for various industrial applications, particularly in remote areas. Through this collaboration, they aim to facilitate more efficient, sustainable and secure operations for organizations across industries. This ambitious endeavor will enable the deployment of advanced technologies such as tracking and telemetry for transport systems, pipeline monitoring for energy firms, real-time control solutions for utilities, and environmental/safety monitoring for mining and agriculture sectors.

Azercosmos, renowned for its diverse portfolio encompassing telecommunications, remote sensing, surveying, and ground station communications services across public and private sectors, is poised for a remarkable expansion. Teaming up with Viasat, this partnership heralds a significant enhancement in connectivity offerings. This strategic move will enable Azercosmos to cater to a broader spectrum of services for both existing and prospective clients, leveraging connectivity from its existing satellite fleet. Notably, this collaboration marks the debut of Viasat-enabled satellite services within the Republic of Azerbaijan, promising novel opportunities in the telecommunications landscape of the region.
