Vestas Received an order worth 77 MW from GS E&R in South Korea

Vestas has been awarded a contract worth 77 MW by GS E&R for the YD1 Wind Farm located in Gyeongsang-do, South Korea. The contract entails the provision and oversight of installing 18 V136-4.2 MW wind turbines configured to operate at 4.3 MW capacity.

Turbine delivery is set to commence in the initial quarter of 2025, followed by commissioning slated for 2026. Vestas has maintained a presence in South Korea since the installation of its initial V47-660 kW turbine in 2001. Over the years, Vestas has deployed over 600 MW and currently services more than 500 MW. The inclusion of the YD1 project will enhance our footprint and accelerate our support for the nation's environmental objectives.
