Triumph Appoints Ankur Damani As Commercial Director - India & Sri Lanka

Ankur Damani has been hired by the Swiss lingerie company Triumph International to serve as the Commercial Director for India and Sri Lanka. Damani is anticipated to lead Triumph Lingerie's growth in his new role by creating a solid business plan targeted at increasing sales and optimizing retail net profit in the Indian market.

Prior to this, he held the position of Country Head for Le Creuset, a French premium cookware company, where he made a substantial contribution to growing the brand's presence through corporate, retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels. In the past, Damani launched and scaled consumer brands across numerous channels for a variety of retail categories, including athleisure, golf, handbags, sports, and fashion. He has more than 18 years of experience working with both Indian and international brands.

In the upcoming years, Damani will lead initiatives to attain threefold growth. He will be in charge of managing Triumph's P&L and annual revenue as it enters its next phase of expansion in Sri Lanka and India.

He began his career at Reebok, where he spent five years managing major accounts, increasing sales, and overseeing retail operations. Notably, he played a significant role in India's adoption of Adidas Global Retail Training & SOPs.
