Toys R Us Asia Limited Names Leo Tsoi As New CEO

Leo Tsoi has been appointed chief executive officer and a board member of Toys"R"Us Asia (Holding) Ltd ("Toys"R"Us Asia"), the top retailer of toys and baby products in ten markets across Asia, the company said today. His position is effective April 1, 2023.

More than 27 years of business leadership expertise in significant multi-national brands across Asia are brought to the position by Mr. Tsoi. Leo most recently served as the CEO of Starbucks China and a member of the Starbucks Global Executive Leadership Team. Leo had a number of top positions at Starbucks China prior to that, including President of Retail, COO, CMO, and VP of Store Development & Design, where he was instrumental in the company's expansion and reinvention. Mr. Tsoi formerly held executive roles in Greater China for two renowned multinational corporations: Pepsico and Procter & Gamble.

Pieter Schats, the interim CEO of Toys"R"Us Asia, turns over the reins to Mr. Tsoi, who will continue to serve on the board.
