Singtel and Vonage Unite to Boost Innovation in Telecom and Enterprises

Separator

Singtel has forged a fresh alliance with cloud communications expert Vonage to expedite innovation for enterprises and telecommunications through Paragon, the telco’s comprehensive orchestration platform. Singtel Paragon facilitates swift connectivity to the 5G network for enterprises and facilitates the rapid and secure deployment of their edge computing applications and services on the telco’s infrastructure. This process effectively trims down time-to-market and accelerates the innovation process.

This partnership allows the Vonage API platform to incorporate Paragon APIs to capitalize on the key capabilities of their networks and edge, such as network slicing, multi-cloud management, connectivity management, edge computing, and advanced network services. As such, enterprises, telcos, and developers can access a global ecosystem of rich communications, network, and edge APIs that will seamlessly provide optimized, secure, and engaging customer experiences.

Telcos equipped with Paragon technology from Singapore, Thailand, Spain, Taiwan, and Indonesia can merge APIs to establish a unified telco and edge API library on a global scale. This empowers global independent software vendors (ISVs), enterprises, and developers to efficiently deliver digital services across hybrid networks, hybrid edge, and public cloud infrastructures across various markets, enhancing both speed and scalability.

“Through this partnership with Vonage, enterprises and developers can tap into federated APIs and collaborate with Paragon-enabled telcos to jointly develop and seamlessly deploy applications into more countries, without needing to repeatedly adapt or change their applications for different markets”, Singtel’s Digital InfraCo CEO Bill Chang said.

Chang highlights that this simplified approach allows telcos and enterprises to concentrate on growth and innovation, presenting extensive opportunities for their ISVs and partners to extend service delivery into additional countries with enhanced ease, speed, and scalability.

“By combining Vonage’s API platform, Ericsson’s 5G network capabilities and Singtel’s Paragon platform, we are paving the way for developers to pioneer new solutions for enterprises to reimagine their business, improve customer experiences and create new communications and engagement capabilities,” Vonage CEO and Ericsson head of business area global communications platform Niklas Heuveldop said.

Vonage APIs are set to be accessible through the Paragon platform marketplace, which serves as Singtel’s app store for multi-network, multi-cloud enterprise solutions. Additionally, Singtel intends to provide industry-standard network and edge APIs to developers via both the Paragon and Vonage API platforms, fostering accelerated enterprise application development across numerous markets.
