Scope Markets Appoints Dun Li as Head of Asia to Drive Southeast Asia Growth
Scope Markets, a retail FX and CFDs broker, has appointed Dun Li as Head of Asia. Based in Bangkok, Dun will lead the company’s expansion efforts across Southeast Asia.
Dun Li brings extensive experience in the FX and CFD trading industry, having worked with several brokers in London since 2011. Most recently, he served as AVP of Business Development for Asia at Exinity for six months. From 2016 until earlier this year, Dun held the position of Sales Director for Asia Pacific at Hantec Markets. He has also previously worked at ETX Capital and Alpari.
John Murphy, CRO of Scope Markets, commented, “Dun joins the business as we embark on our next stage of growth. A core element of the Scope Markets’ ethos is to deliver better access to financial markets, especially in what are historically underserved territories. Because of this we recognise South East Asia as being a key part of our strategy for 2025 and beyond. I am delighted to welcome Dun as the latest member to join our team in Asia”.
Dun Li commented, “The economies in South East Asia are proving incredibly resilient right now, something which is driving significant demand from traders and investors who want better quality access to financial markets. Scope has a great legacy in terms of growing market penetration in fast growth and underserved regions so it is easy to see how the company is already plotting a course for success by expanding its presence in the area. I look forward to being part of the journey”.
