SBI Card Announced Partnership with Singapore Airlines for KrisFlyer Credit Card

SBI Card, India’s largest pure-play credit card issuer, has joined with Singapore Airlines to launch the KrisFlyer SBI Card, marking the airline’s first co-branded credit card in India. This travel-focused credit solution deals with exclusive benefits across the Singapore Airlines Group, which includes access to perks from Scoot, KrisShop.com, the Kris+ lifestyle app, and Pelago. The KrisFlyer SBI Card comes in two versions which are the KrisFlyer SBI Card and the Apex variant. Users can earn up to 80,000 KrisFlyer miles annually, enhancing their travel experiences with added rewards.

Bryan Koh, divisional vice president for loyalty marketing at Singapore Airlines said that KrisFlyer has evolved from an airline loyalty program to a travel and lifestyle-centric rewards program. “ With international travel growing so rapidly, this exclusive co-branded credit card with a partner as trusted as SBI Card gives our members in India a new avenue to earn miles and privileges, not just when they fly with us. We are very pleased and proud to have collaborated with SBI Card in what is surely going to be a very successful partnership”,  added Koh.
Annual fees for the KrisFlyer SBI Card are Rs. 2,999 plus taxes, while the Apex variant is priced at Rs. 9,999 plus taxes. Available on American Express and Mastercard platforms, both versions are contactless and provide various travel perks. In addition to earning miles, spending thresholds unlock KrisFlyer Elite Silver and Gold memberships, which offer benefits like extra baggage allowance, priority check-in, boarding privileges, and lounge access. Reward points are seamlessly converted into KrisFlyer miles that can be redeemed for flights, upgrades, and other travel-related purchases. 

Key features include a welcome bonus of 3,000 miles for the basic version and 10,000 miles for the Apex. Customers also benefit from accelerated rewards on international and Singapore Airlines Group purchases, along with milestone bonuses that offer tier upgrades and extra miles based on annual spending. It also offers    Lounge access, a 1% fuel surcharge waiver, and comprehensive travel insurance,  which makes the KrisFlyer SBI Card an attractive choice for frequent travelers.
