Mr. Ryuji Nagaie has been appointed as the next President Director by PT. Toshiba Asia Pacific Indonesia, effective January 1, 2023. Mr. Nagaie will be in charge of expanding Toshiba's commercial operations in Indonesia in the infrastructure and energy sectors.
Mr. Nagaie has spent the most of his career in marketing and sales for power generating projects, particularly in thermal power plants, since joining Toshiba in 1994.

For 6.5 years, Mr. Nagaie served as Assistant General Manager at the Abu Dhabi Branch Office in the United Arab Emirates, where he oversaw the expansion of the power service sector in the Middle East and North and East Africa. Mr. Nagaie returned to Japan in 2014, where he was named group manager of the Thermal and Hydro Power Generation Division's East & Southeast Asia area group.
Mr. Nagaie has over 20 years of experience working in the energy industry and is highly skilled in project management, financial planning, and company development. His broad understanding is complemented by his hands-on expertise in power plant development, maintenance services, and projects in Japan and abroad.

Mr. Nagaie obtained a Bachelor of Economics from Doshisha University in Kyoto, Japan.
