Quantexa, a leading provider of Decision Intelligence (DI) solutions for both public and private sectors, has welcomed Boon Hui Khoo to its Advisory Board. Boon Hui, former INTERPOL President and Senior Deputy Secretary for the Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs, brings extensive experience in global security and law enforcement leadership to Quantexa. His addition further enhances the Advisory Board, which comprises accomplished professionals from diverse fields such as technology, finance, healthcare, and national security.

Quantexa's Advisory Board growth coincides with a significant period of progress for the company, spurred by a successful year of investment. In 2023, Quantexa concluded a Series E funding round totaling $129 million, primarily led by the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation (GIC). This was followed by the unveiling of a $155 million investment plan in the global artificial intelligence (AI) sector over the subsequent three years. The aim is to assist clients in leveraging AI to enhance their organizations' protection, optimization, and growth.

According to McKinsey, the next decade is poised to unveil fresh prospects for financial services in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. With Asian consumers projected to contribute to half of global consumption growth, presenting a $10 trillion opportunity, Quantexa strategically positioned itself to capitalize on this market expansion. In November of the previous year, Quantexa bolstered its presence in Singapore by inaugurating a new office, thereby fortifying its global network and enhancing proximity to clients and partners in the area. Additionally, as part of its expansive regional growth strategy in APAC, Quantexa ventured into Japan, establishing operations in Tokyo in July 2023.

Bringing a decade of expertise to Quantexa's Advisory Board, Boon Hui Khoo has extensive experience advising companies on cyber security, law enforcement, and financial crime. Beginning his career in the Singapore Armed Forces, Khoo progressed to roles such as Commissioner of the Singapore Police Force and Senior Deputy Secretary at the Singapore Ministry of Home Affairs. He later served as President of INTERPOL before transitioning to the private sector. Khoo's insight will be instrumental in supporting Quantexa's targeted objectives to enhance government agency partnerships in Singapore and throughout the APAC region.

Vishal Marria, CEO and Founder, Quantexa, said, "We are pleased to welcome Boon Hui Khoo to our advisory board at a critical time of growth for the business in the APAC region and beyond. His rich experience from INTERPOL President to being awarded multiple national honours will be invaluable as we work to serve the needs of our growing public sector customer base with category leading, AI-enabled decision intelligence solutions".

Boon Hui Khoo commented, "I am excited to join Quantexa's Advisory Board as the company brings its innovative decision intelligence technology to more customers in the private and public sectors in the region. I look forward to combining my experience in law enforcement and global security with Quantexa's impressive technology capabilities to help shape how its customers and partners use data to optimize and protect their organizations".
