Separator

PwC South East Asia Consulting has announced the launch of an AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Southeast Asia to enhance support for customers in the region. This CoE, developed in partnership with SAP, will focus on the core principles of Business AI as defined by SAP, which emphasize delivering relevant, reliable, and responsible AI solutions. SAP Business AI is integrated into SAP applications that drive essential business processes and includes a variety of AI innovations developed from extensive industry-specific data and deep process expertise, all adhering to responsible AI practices.

The Center of Excellence (CoE) seeks to harness the knowledge of regional and global experts from both PwC and SAP to increase customer value across three strategic focus areas. First, it will identify and prioritize opportunities to optimize business processes through the use of Business AI use cases. Second, the CoE will enhance its capabilities to achieve measurable business outcomes by creating practical roadmaps and supporting effective implementation. Finally, it will concentrate on developing trusted, responsible, and reliable solutions that enable value realization through prototyping and the deployment of repeatable assets, ensuring sustainable success for its customers.

More than 27,000 customers already rely on SAP Business AI to achieve real-word business results, and SAP continues to accelerate the delivery of Business AI use cases across its cloud portfolio. The CoE will focus on making these use cases real for customers by leveraging SAP technology, including Joule, SAP’s AI co-pilot for business, and applications with embedded AI such as SAP Cash Application and SAP Business Integrity Screening.

The PwC team will employ technologies like SAP Signavio to identify opportunities for business process optimization and utilize prebuilt AI solutions alongside the SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP). They will collaborate with SAP to create customized solutions that enhance various business processes, including Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, Record to Report, and Hire to Retire. Additionally, they will leverage the GenAI capabilities within SAP Build Code and the GenAI Hub to accelerate the development process. The team will also engage PwC’s regional team in the Philippines to streamline and localize the development of these solutions. Furthermore, the CoE will promote PwC’s proprietary offerings, such as PwC Autocommenting, to help clients unlock the full potential of their financial data.

The CoE will align closely to SAP’s Business AI roadmap, best practices and solution updates, to provide comprehensive consulting services to support clients in navigating the opportunities and challenges presented by Business AI, enabling them to stay competitive and thrive in the evolving business landscape.
