Proofpoint Appoints Nelson Soon as Vice President of Channels and Alliances

Proofpoint, Inc., a global leader in cybersecurity and compliance has appointed  Nelson Soon as Vice President of Channels and Alliances for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). In his new role, he will manage Proofpoint’s channel and alliance operations across APJ theatre for the company, underscoring Proofpoint’s commitment to its channel business and investment in the growth of its partner ecosystem in the region.

Based out of the Singapore office, Nelson Soon brings a wealth of experience working in IT and cybersecurity. Formerly, he held various senior channel leadership positions at Imperva, now acquired by Thales, as well as at Gigamon, Extreme Networks, Ixia and Agilent Technologies.
