Pierre Leif Edlund has been appointed as the new general manager of Chatrium Grand Bangkok, taking on the role during a period of significant growth and development for the 562-room hotel located in the heart of downtown Bangkok.

Originally from Sweden, Edlund boasts 18 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Pierre worked across Sweden, Greece, Egypt, and the Maldives, managing a diverse range of properties, from intimate B&Bs to boutique hostels and expansive luxury resorts.

In the Maldives, where he spent the last eight years, Edlund served as the resort manager at Lti Maafushivaru, Maldives, followed by a tenure as the resort manager at Niyama Private Island Maldives. Most recently, he was the resort manager at One & Only Reethi Rah, Maldives, further solidifying his commitment to delivering unparalleled guest satisfaction and achieving operational excellence.
