Oliver Wyman, a prominent global management consulting firm and a division of Marsh McLennan, has announced the appointment of Paul Ricard as the new head of insurance and asset management for Asia-Pacific, effective immediately. In his new role, Ricard will oversee the expansion of the firm’s insurance and asset management practice throughout the region. Known for its specialization in management consulting and actuarial services, Oliver Wyman has a significant presence across the Asia-Pacific region.
As a member of the Marsh McLennan group, the company provides strategic advisory services in various sectors such as insurance, asset management, and technology. In his new position, Ricard will be stationed at Oliver Wyman’s Singapore office, where he will manage operations and client relationships throughout Greater China, Southeast Asia, Japan, and Australia. He will be responsible for advancing key client accounts and ensuring that the firm addresses the evolving needs of its clients in the region.
Ricard started at Oliver Wyman in 2011 in New York, where he provided counsel to insurance leaders on major growth and transformation projects. His broad experience includes hosting Oliver Wyman’s Reinventing Insurance Podcast and co-authoring influential industry thought leadership, including the firm’s “10 Ideas for Insurance CEOs.” His extensive expertise in insurance and asset management makes him well-suited for his new role in the Asia-Pacific region.
