OCBC Securities and Lion Global Investors (LGI) are set to introduce the Lion-OCBC Securities APAC Financials Dividend Plus Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) on the Singapore Exchange (SGX), marking OCBC Securities' fourth ETF listing and solidifying its position as the brokerage with the highest number of ETF co-launches in Singapore.

The ETF caters to investors seeking consistent dividend yields, leveraging the robust performance of APAC banks, which have distributed over $175.9 billion (US$130 billion) in dividends over the past two years. It guarantees a minimum annual dividend of 5% from the issue price for the first two years, paid quarterly.

Moreover, the ETF presents significant potential for capital gains, aligning with the promising outlook for APAC financial firms. The region is expected to contribute over 40% of the projected global wealth surpassing $676 trillion (US$500 trillion) by 2024.

The Initial Offer Period (IOP) for the Lion-OCBC Securities APAC Financials Dividend Plus ETF commences today and concludes on 3 May. OCBC will officially list the ETF on 13 May, offering denominations in Singapore dollar (SGD) and United States dollar (USD) under the SGX tickers YLD and YLU, respectively.
