Niki Frank New CEO of DHL Global Forwarding's APAC Region
As Kelvin Leung, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding, Asia Pacific, retires from the Group after more than two decades of distinguished service, DHL Global Forwarding announces a change in management for the region. On July 1, 2023, Niki Frank, who is presently the CEO of DHL Global Forwarding South Asia, will take over as the next CEO of DHL Global Forwarding for the Asia Pacific area.
Leung joined Danzas AEI in 2002 and held a number of leadership positions within DHL Global Forwarding in the area before being appointed CEO of DHL Global Forwarding North Asia Pacific in 2008. Leung has had a long and distinguished career in the logistics sector. When Kelvin was named CEO of Asia Pacific in 2011, his role as a leader was enhanced. He generated record sales and experienced rapid market share expansion in this capacity.
By enhancing goods forwarding options, making DHL Global Forwarding a leader in rail solutions between Asia and Europe, and significantly expanding the Intra-Asia business, he played a crucial role in the transformation of the region.
“I wish to express my sincere thanks to Kelvin for his strong commitment, outstanding contributions to the business, and the results achieved over the past years. We wish him all the best for his well-deserved retirement," said Tim Scharwath, CEO of DHL Global Forwarding, Freight. “Congratulations to Niki on his new role, and I wish him great success in his new position. Niki's extensive experience, strategic acumen, and proven track record in driving performance make him the ideal choice to lead the Asia Pacific region.”
