New Relic Appoints Peter Marelas as Field CTO for Asia Pacific and Japan

NewNew Relic, the comprehensive observability platform for engineers, has announced the appointment of Peter Marelas as Field Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ). Marelas, previously serving as Chief Architect for APJ at New Relic, will assume his new role immediately.

In this newly established position, Marelas will strategically partner with key customers to tackle intricate technical challenges and promote New Relic's observability solutions through speaking engagements and executive interactions across the region. His appointment is part of New Relic’s broader strategy to enhance customer success and operational scale in APJ.

Marelas brings over 25 years of technology industry experience to his new role. His career includes leading transformative programs and teams at major companies such as Dell and EMC. Marelas is also credited with multiple qualifications and patents in areas such as data science, deep learning, data engineering, data management, cloud engineering, and security.
