Separator

NavistNavisite, a worldwide leader in strategic advisory services and digital transformation, has announced an enhanced partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Asia-Pacific region. The collaboration aims to assist organizations in migrating and modernizing their Oracle applications and databases on the AWS Cloud. Navisite's increased investment in the region involves boosting consulting and technical resources. Additionally, the company will collaborate with AWS teams in Singapore and Australia on various activities, such as events, webinars, and joint sales and marketing efforts. These initiatives aim to educate and support customers in migrating Oracle environments, encompassing Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), JD Edwards, Hyperion, and PeopleSoft.

"Moving critical Oracle applications to the cloud raises concerns among organizations, particularly regarding security, performance, and licensing adherence," noted Mark Clayman, CEO of Navisite. "We've been highly successful in aiding customers in overcoming these challenges, reducing operational complexity, and cutting costs in the cloud. Collaborating with AWS in Asia-Pacific will further enhance these capabilities, addressing the growing demand for cloud services and expertise".

Navisite has been assisting organizations in migrating Oracle workloads to AWS since 2011, holding the status of an AWS Premier Tier Services Partner with specialized competencies in AWS Migration and Oracle. The company works closely with clients, devising tailored migration strategies for Oracle-based workloads and supporting their journey with comprehensive cloud migration, optimization, and managed services.

For instance, Navisite assisted Penske Australia & New Zealand in minimizing its data center footprint and migrating Oracle EBS to AWS. This migration not only resulted in significant cost reductions but also enabled the company to concentrate on crucial IT initiatives that add tangible business value, rather than managing a legacy system. Bobby Stojceski, chief security officer at Penske Australia & New Zealand, remarked, "The migration process was exactly as smooth as Navisite described. With AWS now integrated into our environment, we're discovering additional capabilities that were previously unavailable".

Andrew Powell, head of SAP and Oracle Partner Network – APJ at AWS, highlighted, "Many organizations aren't aware of their Oracle options, so it's crucial to provide them with the necessary resources and capabilities for success". He added, "Navisite's track record in migrating Oracle workloads to AWS is exceptional, and we're excited to expand our collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region, which is one of the fastest-growing markets for AWS".
