Larsen & Toubro, a prominent Indian multinational corporation worth $27 billion, has recently inaugurated a cutting-edge manufacturing unit through its subsidiary, L&T Valves Ltd, in Saudi Arabia. Strategically located in Al Jubail along the Dammam-Abu Hadriyah Highway, this facility signifies a significant advancement in local production capabilities for L&T Valves. With a focus on supplying on-off valves to Saudi Arabia, the establishment of this facility aligns seamlessly with Saudi Vision 2030. This national strategy aims at reducing oil dependency, diversifying the economy, and improving public services like healthcare, education, infrastructure, and tourism.
Anil V Parab, the Whole-time Director and Senior Executive Vice President of Heavy Engineering and L&T Valves expressed the importance of this new facility in enhancing local production capabilities while fostering stronger collaboration between L&T and Saudi Arabia.
