Alberico De Nardis has been named Head of South East Asia by LoopMe, a major technology business that employs artificial intelligence (AI) to boost the effectiveness of brand advertising. Bernard Fung has been promoted to President of North APAC. Both are essential for maintaining momentum and spotting new business prospects in the APAC region.

The announcement follows substantial revenue growth for LoopMe, which ended 2022 with 27% year-over-year growth in the APAC region and 55% year-over-year growth globally, topping $150M in revenue in the previous 12 months. This indicates the enduring need for the outcomes-based technology offerings offered by LoopMe, which are accessible through mobile, CTV, digital audio, digital out-of-home, and other developing digital advertising channels without the use of personally identifying information.

De Nardis, who most recently served as TikTok's Global Agency Development Lead, APAC, has demonstrated expertise working for technology firms and industry-leading agencies in APAC and EMEA. Also, he has worked for Handprint, Omnicom Media Group Asia Pacific, and the IAB. De Nardis will be in charge of leading LoopMe's expansion into South East Asia via Singapore, Australia, and India.

Fung, who has worked for LoopMe for more than three years, started as the sales director and has since held the position of interim general manager for APAC. Fung will spearhead LoopMe's expansion in the Greater China Region, Japan, and Korea in his new position as Head of North APAC.

“The APAC market is becoming increasingly important to our business, and these two new appointments will strengthen our senior team and drive growth in the region,” said Stephen Upstone, CEO and Founder at LoopMe. “Bernard has already shown how vital his passion and expertise is in meeting these goals, and we are pleased to have him leading our efforts in the Chinese and Japanese markets. Similarly, bringing someone with as much experience as Alberico on board was a no-brainer, and we are delighted to have him as part of the team for South East Asia.”

Alberico De Nardis, Head of South East Asia at LoopMe, commented on his hiring as:

“LoopMe’s industry-leading AI-powered solution means we’re ideally positioned to continue our expansion in South East Asia, and I’m excited to be part of the APAC team driving this, especially at a time of rapid global growth for the company.”

Moreover, Simon Stone's promotion to General Manager International has been announced by LoopMe. Before joining LoopMe in 2018 as Commercial Director, he served as General Manager EMEA. With his new position, he will be in charge of all EMEA and APAC revenue in addition to managing the growth of LoopMe's teams and presence in these strategic markets. Lisa Coffey also joins LoopMe from Amazon, where she most recently served as Head of Strategy and Business Development, as the company's global CRO.
