LoopMe Expands in APAC, Elevates James Parker to Head of Region

LoopMe, a leading technology company leveraging artificial intelligence (AI) to boost brand advertising performance, has announced further expansion of its operations in the APAC region. The company achieved a robust organic gross revenue compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 40% from 2018 to 2024 and, alongside Chartboost, has now generated over US$2 billion (RM8.9 billion) in gross revenue.

Marking a new phase of growth, LoopMe is opening a regional office, hiring new talent to support its expansion, and pursuing acquisitions to solidify its position for 2025, the company announced.

To lead its APAC strategy, James Parker has been appointed head of APAC. Based in Singapore, Parker, who previously served as managing director of Southeast Asia at MiQ, will spearhead business growth across the region, focusing on Australia, Southeast Asia, and Greater China.

LoopMe has also expanded its presence in Australia with a new office in Melbourne. Recognising opportunities to grow its client base in Victoria and beyond, HS Shin has been appointed senior sales manager. Additionally, the Sydney office has been strengthened with the arrival of Alicia Placer as sales manager, focusing on driving growth with agency holding groups and independent agencies.

This investment follows LoopMe’s recent acquisition of Chartboost, a mobile advertising and monetisation platform. The acquisition brings onboard a team of mobile app experts and cutting-edge technology, further solidifying LoopMe’s mobile app and gaming market presence. The deal opens up new digital opportunities by tapping into mobile in-app as a key growth area for brand advertising.

The acquisition complements LoopMe’s Audience and Measurement Platform (AMP), which was launched last year following several years of development. AMP allows advertisers to build custom audiences using survey data, scale them with LoopMe’s AI technology, and utilize measurement tools to track incremental brand lift and conversions for campaigns of any scale. AMP is expected to drive growth in the APAC region, focusing on improving product integrations with agency partners across the area.

“2024 has been pivotal for our business, marking a new chapter in our evolution,” said Stephen Upstone, CEO and founder of LoopMe. “Building on seven years of consistent organic growth, we’ve seized a strong M&A opportunity to accelerate our progress. APAC is central to our growth plans, and we see immense potential in tapping into digital advertising’s growth areas across the region”.

“With Parker joining as head of APAC, we are confident that our business in this region will continue its successful expansion. We warmly welcome Parker, Shin, and Placer to the LoopMe team.”
