Lighthouse Canton Names Stella Lau Managing Director of Wealth Advisory
Singapore-based external asset manager Lighthouse Canton has appointed Stella Lau, a former private banker at Deutsche Bank, as Managing Director of Wealth Advisory. This move aims to enhance their North Asia operations. Lau will be responsible for expanding the firm’s client base and driving growth in the region. Additionally, several seasoned bankers who previously collaborated with Lau have also joined her team.
Lau brings over 20 years of private banking and leadership experience to her new role. She previously served as the Greater China Market Group Head at Deutsche Bank and has held similar positions at J.P. Morgan, UBS, and Credit Suisse. Additionally, Lighthouse Canton has promoted Charlene Lin to Managing Director of Strategic Growth for North and Southeast Asia. As a founding member of the firm, Lin has played a crucial role in fostering strong client relationships and significantly expanding the company’s reach.

In the first half of 2024, Lighthouse Canton saw its revenue increase by 89% year-on-year, and its hiring grew by 23% year-to-date. The firm anticipates that its assets under management (AUM) will exceed $4 billion by the end of the year. Founded in 2014, Lighthouse Canton is a Singapore-based external asset manager with additional offices in Dubai, India, and London. It employs over 160 professionals and offers a wide range of wealth and asset management services to ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private accredited investors, and institutional clients. As of June 30, 2024, the firm managed $3.7 billion in AUM.
