Through this collaboration, Korean Air will incorporate Accelya's NDC technology along with the advanced FLX-Merchandizing module to deliver personalized services and the most pertinent offers to its customers. Accelya's NDC solution facilitates seamless connectivity between airlines and a vast network of over 50,000 travel agents, including major OTAs and TMCs worldwide.

Utilizing a combination of Accelya and AWS technologies, the FLX-Merchandizing module meticulously tailors customer offerings and experiences. Harnessing cutting-edge technologies, Korean Air will be empowered to craft, customize, and adapt its offerings to enhance service for travelers across both direct and indirect channels.

According to data from T2RL, a leading independent consultancy specializing in travel technology and distribution strategy, the Accelya FLX Platform facilitated over 50% of all global New Distribution Capability (NDC) transactions in 2022. This platform merges the capabilities of Amazon Web Services cloud infrastructure with cutting-edge technologies to provide unmatched scalability and reliability. It empowers airlines to effectively showcase millions of retail offers across various channels in an efficient manner.

Yoo Tae Jung, managing vice president and NDC platform director at Korean Air, commented, "The exhaustive RFP process has highlighted Accelya's technological expertise and flexibility. Our partnership with Accelya is a key step in reshaping our retailing strategy".

Accelya CEO Sam Gilliland echoed this sentiment, "Our alliance with Korean Air is built around a shared belief in putting the customer first, making modern and forward-looking technology choices and ensuring airlines are truly in control of their retailing journey and not being held back by legacy' old world' technology vendors. The deployment of the Accelya FLX platform will provide Korean Air with a clear pathway towards offer and order transformation, empowering them to control their future, with Accelya supporting them every step of the way".
