JPMorgan Appoints Kerwin Clayton As APAC Commercial Banking Head

Kerwin Clayton will take on the role of Head of Commercial Banking for APAC. Since joining JPMorgan in 2006, Clayton has served as the company's co-head of M&A for APAC. Pravin Advani will assume a larger responsibilities as chief administrative officer for corporate client banking international at JPMorgan. Advani's role will involve supporting the ebonies' growth, particularly the expedited expansion of innovation economy banking outside of the US. 

Advani and Clayton will both answer to Filippo Gori, the CEO of APAC, and Andrew Kresse, the global head of corporate client banking. For the first time, JPMorgan's commercial banking division expanded internationally in 2019 to cater to mid-sized businesses operating outside of the US.

Since then, it has grown to assist 650 clients worldwide, hired 200 workers, and entered 26 new countries. The company provides services to mid-sized businesses in seven APAC nations—China, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, India, Australia, and New Zealand—and has aspirations to grow even more in the area.
