Jingtian & Gongcheng Hires Three Partners for Dispute Resolution in Shenzhen
Jingtian & Gongcheng’s Shenzhen office has hired three partners specializing in dispute resolution: John Zhou, Li Li, and Tan Yanhua.
Zhou, with 15 years of experience, specializes in litigation and arbitration within the construction, banking, and finance sectors. He has provided counsel to brokers like CMB International and Morgan Stanley. A former partner at East & Concord Partners, Zhou was recognized with China Business Law Journal’s A-list 2023-24: Growth Drivers award for his accomplishments in dispute resolution.
Li specialises in dispute resolution involving intellectual property, antitrust and competition law. He has long provided regulatory compliance and import-export control advice to China and international companies. Li was a former partner at Guantao Zhongmao Law Firm (now Guantao Law Firm), he previously worked in the legal department of China Resources Group.
Tan, a former partner at Guantao, has been advising on private equity funds, equity financing, and dispute resolution. He has provided legal guidance on financing matters for startups in the high-end manufacturing, new energy, and metaverse industries. Additionally, Tan has assisted private equity fund clients with fund establishment, investments, and liquidation.
Just two months ago, Jingtian & Gongcheng also recruited Liu Ping, another Shenzhen-based partner from Guantao.
