AcclimeAcclime, the rapidly growing corporate services provider in the Asia Pacific, has appointed Izzy Silva as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Silva, a seasoned business leader with over five years as the APAC CEO and Managing Director of global software firm Wolters Kluwer, will assume his role on March 18 and relocate from Melbourne to Singapore.

Silva's appointment marks a significant milestone for Acclime as it shifts from a founder-led business to a substantial corporation. The current CEO and Co-Founder, Martin Crawford, will transition to the role of Executive Chairman. This move follows several strategic senior appointments at the country level to support Acclime's accelerated expansion in the region.

Acclime, known for its tech-enabled approach, recently acquired RSM Hong Kong's non-audit business in 2023, reinforcing its advisory services capability. Crawford highlighted the importance of Silva's experience in commercial expansion, technology enablement, and transformative change as Acclime positions itself for rapid growth and considers selecting a strategic equity partner.

Silva expressed enthusiasm for joining Acclime, emphasizing the company's successful trajectory since its inception in 2019. He highlighted Acclime's focus on people, culture, and being a tech-enabled business as key factors contributing to its success. The company has acquired and integrated 38 entities across 14 countries, serving 14,000 clients with more than 1,400 employees. Over the past year, Acclime expanded into new markets, including Taiwan, New Zealand, India, and the United Arab Emirates.

Silva sees Acclime's strength in assisting companies expanding into Asia, providing comprehensive support in legal, accounting, tax, compliance, and licensing systems across the Asia Pacific. The company's growth mindset and culture align with Silva's vision of leveraging advanced technologies to drive client value and position Acclime for future success in the region and beyond.
