Hunter Point Capital, a prominent independent investment firm offering capital solutions to alternative asset managers, has announced the further expansion of its Asia Pacific presence with the appointment of Peter Rosenbloom as Managing Director and Head of Asia Pacific on the Capital Formation team

In this newly created role, Mr. Rosenbloom will be responsible for deepening HPC’s presence and relationships with institutional investors and alternative investment firms in the region. He brings over a decade of institutional knowledge to the role and spent the majority of that time in Hong Kong supporting capital-raising efforts across Asia. Mr. Rosenbloom will work alongside SD Chu, Managing Director, and Akira Takahashi, who was recently promoted to Managing Director, Head of Japan.

“Asia’s growing prominence for both GPs and LPs underscores the importance of having dedicated relationship managers on the ground”, said Avi Kalichstein, CEO and Co-Founder of HPC. “Peter’s deep institutional knowledge and network of institutional investors will be a resource to our GP partners who are looking to do, or have, business in the region. We look forward to working with him to elevate our presence in an important market for our firm”.

Mr. Rosenbloom joins HPC from Investcorp, where he served as Partner and Head of Asia Pacific Institutional Capital Raising. Before that, he was a Principal in institutional coverage at KKR & Co. Inc., where he worked between their NYC and Hong Kong offices.

Mr. Rosenbloom added, “Hunter Point Capital is well positioned to bring its model of strategic partnership and capital solutions to the Asian market. I am excited to be joining such a highly experienced team and collaborate with both our LPs and GPs in the region”.
