HK-based chat management firm bags $5m series A funding
ImBee, a Hong Kong-based chat management startup, has raised US$5 million in a series A funding round led by DCM Ventures.
The fresh funds will support the company’s plans to advance its services and expand its operations both in current and new markets.
“We are very much looking forward to using this capital to expand product features, such as digital know-your-customer and identity verification,” said Ken Chu, imBee co-founder and CEO, in a statement received.
ImBee was founded in 2019 by Chu and Leo Wong, who also serves as COO. The SaaS company provides one central inbox for instant communication channels with business tools and workflow automation, helping brands communicate with their customers and teams.
Its clients come from different industries, including financial services, insurance, luxury retail, and health and wellness. ImBee also has a presence in Singapore and Taiwan.
