HeiTech Padu has announced that Group Managing Director Puan Salmi Nadia, the daughter of the Deputy Chairman, has decided to resign, with her last day set for 31 December 2024.
She was appointed to the position in April this year. Salmi joined HeiTech in 2007, initially serving as Special Assistant to the GCEO in 2011, and later as Director of Corporate Development and Risk Management in 2014. Over the years, she has been responsible for all centralized functions under Corporate Services, overseeing the operations and performance of all companies within the HeiTech group. In January 2016, she was appointed Executive Vice President of Risk Management and Corporate Services.
As her replacement, the group has appointed Hasrul Azuan Mohd Yusof as the new Chief Executive Officer with immediate effect.
Hasrul has over 20 years of working experience in the area of Business Management and possesses a broad range of Business Acumen. Before joining the Company, he was the Executive Vice President and Head of Business Development of Malayan Banking Berhad.
During his tenure, he led the department through complex challenges and implemented strategic changes, resulting in numerous awards and recognized achievements. His efforts have positioned the team as a key driver of the organization's continued success. Before this appointment, he was known for his extensive network within the business community, spanning a wide range of industries beyond just the financial sector.
