Futoshi Niizuma Named Seagate's Vice President for Asia Pacific

Seagate Technology Holdings plc, a prominent innovator in mass-capacity data storage, has announced the appointment of Futoshi Niizuma as the vice president of sales for the Asia-Pacific and Japan regions. Niizuma will be responsible for managing the company's sales and technical support operations throughout the area.

“We are excited to have Niizuma take on his new expanded role”, said BanSeng Teh, executive vice president and chief commercial officer at Seagate. “Niizuma’s exceptional experience in working with business partners as well as his leadership will empower and support the customers we serve in this region”.

Niizuma, who joined Seagate in October 2009, has held several senior roles across Japan, South Asia, ASEAN, Australia, and New Zealand. Most recently, he led Seagate’s Japan sales team to expand its market presence, forge robust ecosystem partnerships, and deliver significant value to customers. Before his tenure at Seagate, Niizuma held senior positions in sales, marketing, and management at Kenwood Corporation and Advanced Micro Devices.
