IndependentIndependent asset manager Fiera Capital has announced the appointment of John Cappetta as Managing Director and Head of Asia, excluding Japan and Korea, effective immediately. This strategic hire underscores Fiera Capital's commitment to strengthening its footprint in the Asian market, with Cappetta set to lead its operations from Singapore.

Bringing over 34 years of industry experience, Cappetta joins Fiera from Ninety One, where he served as Head of Private Banking and Asia Advisor. As global asset managers respond to the growing demand for tailored public and private market strategies in Asia, Cappetta’s expertise will play a crucial role in advancing the firm’s objectives.

This appointment is part of Fiera's broader global expansion strategy, which includes the opening of new regional offices in Zurich, The Hague, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, scheduled for 2024.
