Emirates Group Join Hands With Amazon For Digital Experience

Separator

In a first for the sector, The Emirates Group and Amazon have collaborated to design a futuristic, immersive digital journey to enhance its employee experiences.

The Emirates Group's cabin crew, new hires, and the larger community of industry partners will benefit from the development of an immersive Extended Reality (iXR) platform and capability, according to a contract inked by the two organizations. As the Group integrates ground-breaking features and technology into the platform, a plethora of new capabilities including 3D virtual hubs, virtual training, gamified surroundings, and simulated experiences are on the horizon.

iXR will provide technological capabilities with photorealistic experiences thanks to AWS spatial computing and artificial intelligence. With a consistent, high-fidelity experience streamed from the cloud, iXR experiences will be available across next-generation wearables and hand-held devices, including tablets and mobiles, to meet employees where they are.

iXR will have three separate features in the initial phase: a social hub and collaborative hub; training for the cabin crew; and staff onboarding.

Employees will be welcomed to entertaining and interactive brand experiences at an Emirates Virtual Hub.

By utilizing cutting-edge technology to create an atmosphere that is really immersive, iXR will offer the airline's award-winning cabin staff a 3D interactive experience that is unmatched. Here, personnel will enter a painstakingly designed digital world with virtual classrooms, interact with knowledgeable facilitators and peers for learning, and maneuver the complex cabins of the airline's flagship A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. The setting will include photorealistic avatars, spatial audio, and cabin service trainers for a genuine, sensory experience that strengthens Emirates' hospitality culture.

New hires at the Emirates Group will be able to swiftly and visually learn more about the company and its enormous operations, the people and its culture, their individual positions, and life in Dubai thanks to the hyperreal virtual environment. Successful candidates will have a smooth onboarding process thanks to embedded support services.
