Dubai Chambers, China Construction Bank Partner to Boost Trade

DubaiDubai Chambers has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China Construction Bank (CCB) – DIFC Branch to boost trade and investment ties between the two regions. The partnership aims to enhance investment cooperation and support Chinese businesses looking to expand in the Dubai market. This collaboration is set to promote the exchange of knowledge and expertise, contributing to the growth of businesses and investors from both regions.

The MoU was signed at Dubai Chambers' headquarters by Hassan Al Hashemi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, and Wei Luo, General Manager of China Construction Bank – DIFC Branch. The agreement is expected to drive bilateral cooperation across diverse sectors and solidify Dubai’s reputation as a global business hub. By strengthening ties with China, Dubai continues to position itself as a preferred destination for Chinese investments.

This partnership comes as China’s role as a global economic powerhouse continues to grow, and it coincides with the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the UAE and China. The MoU is also expected to advance trade cooperation between the two regions, fostering new opportunities for businesses and enhancing bilateral trade and investment partnerships.

The timing of the agreement aligns with the upcoming Dubai Business Forum – China, organized by Dubai Chambers, set to take place in Beijing on 21st August. The event, themed ‘China, Dubai and Beyond: Igniting Global Trade and Investment’, seeks to attract Chinese companies to Dubai by showcasing the regional and global growth opportunities available in the emirate.

This collaboration highlights Dubai’s commitment to building stronger ties with China and offering robust support to Chinese businesses aiming to thrive in the region’s dynamic market.
