Red Hat, the top provider of enterprise open source solutions, and Moro Hub, a division of Digital DEWA, the digital arm of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), have partnered to offer Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform services on Moro Cloud.

As part of the engagement, Moro Hub became a Red Hat Certified Cloud and Service Provider.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat OpenShift, and Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform services can now be used by Moro Hub clients on the Moro Cloud infrastructure to build an enterprise offering with improved security capabilities for local customers. As part of Moro Hub's commitment to accelerating the sustainability journey in the UAE, Red Hat solutions will be housed at the company's carbon-neutral data centres, one of which was just recognised by Guinness World Records as the largest solar-powered green data centre in the world.

“Moro Hub has been steadfast in its commitment to bring flexibility and reliability to private and public enterprises in the region. Our collaboration with Red Hat will not only help businesses modernise applications but also enable them to work smarter and faster with a comprehensive set of services. We are confident that Red Hat solutions will deliver a more consistent experience for organisations, facilitating convenience and efficiency for their operations,” said Mohammad Bin Sulaiman, CEO of Moro Hub.

As a result of Red Hat Enterprise Linux being made available on Moro Cloud, Moro Hub is able to serve a variety of hardware architecture, give companies a more dependable administration experience, reduce risk, automate security functions, and uphold compliance.
