At the 2024 INCLUSION· Conference on the Bund in Shanghai, Antom highlighted that digital payments are now the favored method among Southeast Asian shoppers when making purchases on global online platforms. Local real-time payment methods, including DANA in Indonesia, Touch 'n Go eWallet in Malaysia, and TrueMoney in Thailand, lead the region, with Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) options also gaining popularity.

Antom has utilized AI technology and an extensive network of payment channel partnerships to build local acquiring capabilities in over 40 countries worldwide. This setup allows businesses to integrate hundreds of payment methods and handle transactions in more than 100 currencies. Among its key clients are Chinese merchants expanding internationally. Antom reports notable growth in transaction volumes within sectors such as e-commerce, online travel agents (OTAs), and transportation. This growth is attributed to the rapid rise of standalone e-commerce websites and the strong rebound of the global travel market.

“Chinese companies are entering a new phase of global expansion, placing greater emphasis on product innovation, localized operations, and brand building. Payments are a critical component in connecting merchants and consumers”, said Barbara Yu, Head of Product at Antom.

Antom’s EasySafePay feature enables users to complete their payments directly within the merchant’s app, improving payment success rates and fostering consumer trust with a smooth transaction experience. Additionally, Antom Payment Orchestration, an all-in-one SaaS platform for payment management, allows businesses to swiftly integrate with hundreds of global payment methods. It offers centralized and intelligent management of multiple payment channels, helping merchants save approximately two-thirds of their time and technical resources.

“Antom integrated multiple payment channels for us, reducing costs and allowing us to focus more on product development and operations. With Antom's support, we also improved channel management and enhanced payment stability”, said Hang Wen, CTO of Xide International, a global fashion brand expanding rapidly in the European and American markets.

William Yang, Antom’s Head of Growth, presented the company's digital services and growth tools, emphasizing how businesses can rapidly establish online stores across various digital wallets and apps. Antom also offers digital marketing solutions designed to boost user growth and enhance payment conversion rates. These solutions facilitate targeted customer engagement through customized promotions, leveraging privacy-preserving technology and collaborations with payment apps.

"Digital payment innovations have inspired our international marketing strategies. Antom helped us implement targeted campaigns, attracting users more effectively and enhancing the customer experience”, said Shuai Zhao, Marketing Director of POP MART.
