Dentsu Creative India Names Surjo Dutt As Chief Creative Officer

Dutt will lead the charge in harmonizing with the agency's global vision at Dentsu Creative India as per the mandate. He will create innovative solutions in close cooperation with the creative teams that will harness the power of contemporary creativity to elevate brands and spur corporate expansion, it was said. With over 400 campaigns completed across more than 70 companies and more than 20 categories, Dutt has 24 years of experience. He was instrumental in guiding FCB India's success story as the company's former chief creative officer.

Prior to that, Dutt served as the national creative director - North and oversaw the launch and expansion of Sapient Nitro's advertising division. At JWT, where he served as vice president and executive creative director (ECD), he made a substantial impact as well. Dutt has collaborated with a variety of companies over the course of his career, including Pepsi, Frito Lay, Hero Motocorp, GSK, Google, Uber, Vistara, Dominos, Pernod Ricard, Nokia, Airtel, Nestle, and British Airways.

Dutt will answer to Amit Wadhwa, CEO of Dentsu Creative India, in his new position.
