Separator

CrowdCrowdStrike, a leading cybersecurity company, has announced a strategic partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) to enhance the security of artificial intelligence (AI) innovations, particularly large language models (LLMs). This collaboration integrates the CrowdStrike Falcon cybersecurity platform with HPE's GreenLake cloud services and OpsRamp AIOps, aiming to provide a unified approach to secure and accelerate AI innovation.

The partnership focuses on combining IT operations and cybersecurity into a streamlined process, designed to secure AI-driven advancements. The integration of CrowdStrike's Falcon platform with HPE's OpsRamp's AI-driven observability tools will offer a comprehensive view of an organization's attack surfaces across its infrastructure and applications. This holistic approach aims to identify and rectify security vulnerabilities within AI pipelines, thereby ensuring the resilience and integrity of AI solutions.

George Kurtz, CEO and Founder of CrowdStrike, emphasized the necessity of integrating robust security measures with technological advancements. “Security needs to parallel the slope of technology innovation. GenAI promises to transform business operations, and the best AI requires the best AI-powered security. Our partnership with HPE combines powerful enterprise computing with the industry’s premier security platform to accelerate secure end-to-end AI and ML adoption,” said Kurtz.

OpsRamp, a key component of this collaboration, offers a unified operational view of applications and infrastructure through full-stack observability. It provides comprehensive operations and automation for NVIDIA accelerated computing and AI workloads from a single console. The OpsRamp platform features an operations copilot that uses a generative AI-powered conversational assistant to facilitate the rapid detection and remediation of issues. This integration into the HPE GreenLake cloud will enable CrowdStrike to safeguard AI workloads and LLMs, leveraging joint AI solutions and go-to-market strategies developed by HPE and NVIDIA.

The broader HPE portfolio includes HPE Private Cloud AI, announced at HPE Discover 2024. This solution integrates NVIDIA AI computing, networking, and software with HPE’s AI storage, compute, and GreenLake cloud. It is designed to provide advanced AI capabilities from the edge to data centers and the cloud, ensuring a seamless experience for AI-driven operations.

Fidelma Russo, EVP/GM of Hybrid Cloud and Chief Technology Officer at HPE, highlighted the critical role of security in AI applications. “Security is crucial for AI applications and the data they access. Our strategic collaboration with CrowdStrike, combined with our OpsRamp observability, offers complete endpoint security to protect your AI applications running on HPE Private Cloud AI,” Russo stated.

This partnership between CrowdStrike and HPE aims to ensure that organizations can securely adopt and implement generative AI technologies across diverse environments, ranging from the edge to the cloud. The integration of advanced cybersecurity measures is intended to bolster the confidence of enterprises in deploying AI solutions, thereby facilitating broader adoption of AI technologies.

The collaboration addresses several key challenges faced by organizations today, such as the growing complexity of managing and securing AI innovations. By offering a unified solution that integrates security with AI operations, CrowdStrike and HPE are poised to drive the next wave of AI adoption while safeguarding the underlying data and processes.

In addition to providing enhanced security, this partnership is expected to accelerate the deployment of AI and machine learning (ML) applications by ensuring that security measures keep pace with technological advancements. As AI continues to evolve and play a more significant role in business operations, the integration of CrowdStrike’s cybersecurity expertise with HPE’s AI and cloud capabilities represents a critical advancement in securing the future of AI.
