ClickUp Expands APAC Presence with New Singapore Data Centre
In response to increasing demand, ClickUp, the all-in-one productivity platform, has announced its commitment to further invest in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region by establishing an additional local data center in Singapore. This expansion allows ClickUp's Enterprise plan customers to host their data in another APAC location without incurring additional costs. The move follows ClickUp's recent introduction of localized data hosting in Sydney at the end of 2023.
Operated by Amazon Web Services, ClickUp's second APAC data center in Singapore aims to enhance performance for customers, enabling them to scale their operations without compromising speed or efficiency. The company has already commenced the migration of eligible workspaces to the new data center.
Ankesh Chopra, Vice President APAC at ClickUp, emphasized the importance of ensuring customer data safety and effective management amid the growing demand in APAC. He stated, "The establishment of our Singapore data centre reinforces our commitment to the region and provides another way to support our rapidly growing customer-base".
ClickUp's presence in APAC has been steadily expanding, with notable customers including Shopee, Eastspring Investments, Singapore Management University, and YSQ International. In addition, ClickUp has onboarded ten new partners, such as HarmonyX, Web Spiders Group, and Digibeacon, to extend its sales and services capabilities.
