CFN Lawyers Appoints Bonita Chan as Partner to Boost Dispute Resolution
Hong Kong law firm CFN Lawyers has appointed experienced dispute resolution lawyer Bonita Chan as a partner, joining Anthony Siu & Co, which collaborates with Jia Yuan Law Office in China. This move is part of CFN’s strategy to enhance its expertise in cross-border commercial disputes, the firm told ALB.
Chan brings to CFN Lawyers over 25 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and arbitration, focusing on cross-border disputes. Her expertise spans areas including corporate and shareholder conflicts, contractual disagreements, and international trade disputes.
Over her career, Chan has represented multinational corporations, financial institutions, and high-net-worth individuals in high-stakes cases across various jurisdictions.
Chan joined Anthony Siu & Co as a partner in 2022 from Ince Hong Kong. Before that, she held partner positions at Miao & Co., which has since merged with the Hong Kong branch of Han Kun Law Offices, and Hastings & Co.
"With solid and extensive experiences in litigation and arbitration, particularly involving cross-border commercial disputes, Bonita brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will enhance our capabilities and strengthen our commitment to providing exceptional legal services to our clients”, the firm said.
Founded in 2013, CFN Lawyers has gained a solid reputation in capital markets, having advised over 50 companies on their initial public offerings in Hong Kong. The firm recently expanded with a new office in the Qianhai Cooperation Zone in Shenzhen and an affiliated office in New York, USA. It now has 12 partners based in Hong Kong.
