Hospitality expert Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale is leading the launch of Singapore's first all-villa resort, Raffles Sentosa Singapore, which will welcome its inaugural guests on March 1, 2025. With 36 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Cavaliere Giovanni is set to usher in the next chapter of the renowned Raffles brand on Sentosa, Singapore's 'island in the city'.
Raffles Sentosa Singapore will feature 62 villas, each with a private pool and terrace area, set in over 100,000 sq m of sprawling tropical gardens with views over the South China Sea.

Cavaliere Giovanni was formerly the General Manager of The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts (FHR), a role he had held since early 2010. He played a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic direction and development of The Fullerton Heritage Precinct, which comprises seven landmarks: The Fullerton Hotel
Singapore, The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore, The Fullerton Waterboat House, One Fullerton, The Fullerton Pavilion, Clifford Pier and Customs House.
In August 2016, Cavaliere Giovanni was knighted with The Order of the Star of Italy (Ordine Della Stella D‘Italia). The honorary award is bestowed upon Italians residing overseas or foreigners who have achieved particular merit in the promotion of friendship and cooperation, scientific and cultural ties with Italy.
Since his appointment in February 2022, Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort and Spa has garnered numerous awards, with its dedication to sustainability earning Green Globe Certification. Furthermore, readers of Business Traveller Asia Pacific named the hotel the "Best Urban Resort Hotel in Asia-Pacific" in the publication's inaugural ranking.
