Broadsign names Veronica Ong as Sales Director, Southeast Asia

The provider of DOOH marketing platform Broadsign has announced the hiring of Veronica Ong as Sales Director, Southeast Asia, building on a notable year of growth in Singapore and the larger Asia-Pacific region.

Ong, who joins Broadsign from JCDecaux Singapore, provides a plethora of OOH expertise and sales experience that will aid the business in growing its presence across the Southeast Asian region. She will work with the regional sales team in the newly created position to expand Broadsign's portfolio of DOOH clients in the area and boost its partner offering. 

Ong worked with big international companies to purchase advertising space on the OOH leader's network as the previous team leader of JCDecaux's strategic and airport advertising accounts. She oversaw sales for all media outlets in the Singapore area during her time there, including street furniture, shopping centres, theatres, and large-format advertising. Ong received an internal Best Salesperson Award in 2016 for her work with Changi Airport as well as a GroupM Best Media Salesperson Award in 2018 as a result of her demonstrated account service skills. 

She worked in a variety of sales positions before joining JCDecaux, including publishing at SPH Magazines' fashion and beauty division.
