Anthropic Appoints Guillaume Princen as its New EMEA Head

Anthropic, the US-based AI Company that develops the Claude Chabot has appointed Guillaume Princen as its Europe, Middle East and Africa head.

The company backed by Amazon and Google stated that it would create more than 100 roles in Europe, including in Dublin and London in the areas of sales, engineering, research and business operations, mainly across its Dublin and London offices.

Guillaume, in his previous role, led Stripe's expansion in Europe and was CEO of expenses management platform Mooncard. He stated, “The growth in Europe and the UK came at a critical moment when businesses needed advanced AI capabilities.”

He has experience over 20 years in Revenue, Product, Operations, People, Finance, Strategy, Communications, policy in high growth environments. He is People leader, company builder, organization scaler, product lover, and Strategic.

Anthropic stated, “The Claude, which competes with OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Gemini, has been deployed by companies such as ad group WPP, automaker BMW and pharma firm Novo Nordisk.”

Anthropic in the last month raised $3.5 billion at a $61.5 billion post-money valuation in a funding round led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners, General Catalyst and other new and existing investors.
