Alexander Pollich Named CEO of Porsche China

AlexanAlexander Pollich will assume the role of President and CEO of Porsche China, Hong Kong, and Macao, effective 1 September 2024. Pollich’s primary responsibilities will include driving growth in the Chinese market, enhancing collaboration with local dealers, and optimizing internal processes.

Pollich brings over 23 years of experience at Porsche, having served as Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche Deutschland GmbH since 2018. He has also led Porsche operations in Canada and the UK, and holds a background in business administration and economics.

Michael Kirsch, the current CEO, will transition to a new role within the Porsche Group, with details to be announced later. In the interim, Karsten Sohns, CFO of Porsche Deutschland GmbH, and Thomas Illner, COO of Porsche Deutschland GmbH, will manage the German market until Pollich’s successor is appointed.

Pollich’s extensive experience and proven leadership are expected to bolster Porsche’s position in the crucial Chinese market, aligning with the company's strategic goals and fostering stronger relationships with local stakeholders.
