Al Arabia Merges With SCAI For Remat Al-Riyadh's Billboard Project

To compete for a contract in the city, AI firm SCAI partnered strategically with outdoor solutions provider Al Arabia. This might mean that artificial intelligence will soon be present on billboards in Riyadh.

By creating a special-purpose company under the terms of the agreement, the two companies will pool their resources and experience in an effort to increase their chances of securing the contract for Remat Al-Riyadh's outdoor billboard project.

Al Arabia intends to reinvent traditional advertising as part of its digital transformation strategy by utilising its financial and technical prowess, while SCAI, which is controlled by the Public Investment Fund, will contribute AI technology to spur innovation.

In addition to using cutting-edge technology to create smart cities and improve the urban environment, the relationship goes beyond advertising.

According to Alarabiya, Al Arabia noted that this arrangement ushers in a new age by presenting the next generation of billboards for advertising that are appropriate for smart cities.

Only if Al Arabia wins the project will the agreement's conditions and clauses take effect. They are not regarded by any party as enforceable until that time.

With contracts worth up to $206 million, SCAI intends to be the dominant provider of AI in the area.

Along with enhancing the urban environment, the Remat project, which was introduced last month, aims to bring new advertising forms on building facades, unoccupied areas, and public transportation.

The Quality of Life programme of Vision 2030, which aims to improve people's lifestyles and livability, is in line with this project.

There are two bundles for the project. Three options are included in the first bundle, including advertising on prime Riyadh highways on the sides of buildings and on undeveloped land. Later this year, the second bundle will be declared.
