Aiken Group strengthens leadership With the appointment of Joshua Ooi in the APAC region

Aiken Group is thrilled to announce several important appointments to its leadership team. Aiken Group is a global growth agency that specialises in helping international brands with their digital transformation.

Dominic Koh was named CEO of Aiken Digital Vietnam and Global Account Director in October 2022. Previously serving as Aiken Digital's Project Management Office Lead, Joshua Ooi (shown to the right) has now been named General Manager of Aiken Digital APAC and Onyx Island. The CEO of Aiken Group, Joseph Chua, will get his reports.

Prior to this, Kenneth Chiew was as general manager of Aiken Digital. Now, he oversees Velocity 678, an integrated live commerce division of the Aiken Group. Jan Ong (shown on the left) has been hired as the Business Director of Aiken Digital's Mastercard account, and she will be under Dominic Koh's direction.

In his new position as General Manager, Joshua Ooi offers more than 15 years of experience in creating insights-driven digital campaigns and solid client connections. He will serve as a thought leader in new business and client alliances, oversee strategic planning, business growth, and talent development for Aiken Digital. Joshua was a key contributor to the leadership of the Business team, the expansion of the client portfolio, and the MarTech capabilities of the agency in his previous position as Partner at Onyx Island, a digital marketing agency.

As Business Director, Jan Ong is in charge of managing Aiken Digital's Mastercard account. Jan has a wide range of industry knowledge, including working knowledge of financial institutions and several merchant verticals (travel, retail, F&B, etc.). Jan oversaw various projects during her six years at Mastercard Advisors AP, including the rollout of Citibank Global Wallet in 14 APMEA markets to lead Citi's aspirations for digital transformation. In the APAC area, she also oversaw a number of test-and-learn activities, such as complicated price optimization for customers in the F&B industry and A/B testing of campaign offers to increase customer acquisition, retention, and spending.

Jan will lead commercial and operational excellence for Aiken Digital's Mastercard account in her new position. She will be in charge of overseeing every aspect of the client services team as well as expanding the company's marketing reach across both current and emerging digital platforms.
