Sheikh Hamdan Unveils Board of Young Arab Leaders to Shape Future Leadership
Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, unveiled the Board of Young Arab Leaders.
This initiative, launched as part of Sheikh Hamdan's vision to "prepare capable leaders who contribute to the ongoing development and progress of Arab civilization," builds on the Young Arab Leaders program that was established 20 years ago, according to Dubai Media Office.
"Our mission is to empower the leaders of tomorrow in the Arab region through a network that fosters exchange of expertise and drives positive change," said Sheikh Hamdan, on social media platform X. "Our mission is to expand this network to 50,000 members, while launching pioneering initiatives and implementing transformative projects".
He added that the Arab region's greatest resource was its 200 million young people. "We remain committed to nurturing their potential, inspiring hope, and empowering them to lead the way towards a brighter future.
“We want this initiative to be an incubator for achieving the aspirations and dreams of Arab youth for our region to return to its golden age in various fields of science, culture, technology, and intellectual creativity, and we will provide support to these young Arab leaders to continue advancing the reality of Arab societies for a better and brighter future", Sheikh Hamdan said.
The Young Arab Leaders initiative is the largest specialized network focused on supporting promising Arab youth and fostering a culture of entrepreneurship, according to the media office. Khalfan Belhoul, CEO of the Dubai Future Foundation, will lead the group.
