Pakistan to welcome investment from UAE to strengthen the existing economic ties
Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, stated that Pakistan would welcome investment from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to a statement issued by the finance ministry, Syed Basar Shueb explained various investment opportunities in Pakistan during a call on meeting with the Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director, and Managing Director of International Holding Company (IHC).
He the CEO of IHC regarding the recent visit of the Prime Minister and his various meetings held with the Emirati businessmen and investors. He thanked the management of the IHC for their interest in making investments in Pakistan.
He talked about ways to speed up economic cooperation between the two countries and expressed a desire to take existing economic ties to the next level.
He went on to say that the Pakistani government was working on various reforms to make it easier for investors and businesspeople to do business.
According to the statement, the Finance Minister assured the CEO that the government would provide maximum assistance to Emirati investors in Pakistan.
In welcoming the Finance Minister, CEO H.E. Syed Basar Shueb emphasised the cordial relationship that exists between the two countries and praised the government's role in attracting investment opportunities in Pakistan.
