Top 10 Leaders In Myanmar - 2023
Myanmar Upping the Chart Backed by a Dynamic Entrepreneurial Spirit
Myanmar’s Journey to Pinnacle: Formerly known as Burma, Myanmar is known worldwide for its Buddhism and the intriguing mix of British colonial architecture and gilded pagodas. As per the World Bank, Myanmar is an emerging economy and is also classified as a ‘low income’ economy. In 2021, the country's GDP reached $76 billion and GDP per capita was $1630. Agriculture considered as the major source of income produces from 45 to 57 percent of GDP, while major industries such as crop production (food crops: rice, bean, corn; technical: jute, cotton, rubber plants); livestock (livestock, poultry), marine fisheries and fishing has also been developed. Also, the share of industry and construction in GDP is about 20 percent (As per a report published by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus). However, with the new industry player and leaders constantly taking the charge, the country is witnessing a slow but steady growth.
Rich Leadership Approach: Myanmar is slowly upping the charts as a growing economy, primarily fueled by a dynamic entrepreneurial spirit and a highly skilled human workforce, and has started its journey to the pinnacle. Big thanks to the increasing number of educated population and, some transformational and visionary industry leaders, those who tend to form greater teams, that are happier, more productive and more connected to their organization, and this pose a ripple effect that reaches business’s bottom line. These stalwart leaderswith a richer mix of perspectives and life experiences, keeping up with the changing trends and technology, have magnanimously responded to threats and opportunities with a wider imagination around possibilities, be it any industry, which definitely needs to be celebrated and acknowledged.
